Richland County Stormwater Management

Our Mission is to provide stormwater management support (drainage and water quality) to the Department of Public Works in order to improve public safety, enhance public health and increase public service through departmental and divisional coordination and public awareness.

Richland County National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Program

Richland County currently implements second five year NPDES permit issued by SCDHEC which is effective through September 10, 2011. This permit includes two Co-Permittees, namely, the Town of Arcadia Lakes and City of Forest Acres, for their NPDES Phase II regulations.
