Richland County Hosts its 4th Annual
Richland County Recycles Celebration / Recycling Event
Saturday, November 13, 2010
10am-4pm

Richland County Solid Waste Department is hosting its 4th Annual Richland Recycles Day on Saturday, November 13th from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Clemson Sandhill Research and Education, 900 Clemson Road.

Residents can recycle old computers, Household electronic and home office equipment, mattresses, TVs, tires, scrap metal and cell phones …all for FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

***Household Hazardous waste items like paint, cleaning chemicals pesticides and other household chemicals will also be accepted for recycling (By appointment only).

“New This Year” Light bulb exchange program residents can exchange 4 regular household bulbs for 4 energy efficient Compact Fluorescent Bulbs. The limit is 4 per person.

The free recycling event will feature free food, carnival rides, games, live entertainment and lots of prizes. America Recycles Day is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to encouraging Americans to recycle and to buy recycled products.
