The Richland County Economic Development Office (RCEDO) works to assist new companies considering locating in Richland County and existing companies considering expand their operations. As the capital county of South Carolina, Richland strives to maintain a pro-business climate that allows companies to work profitably in our community.

• Maintain demographic and economic data on Richland County
• Conduct building and site tours for prospective companies
• Facilitate meetings with existing industry to discuss human resources and labor force issues
• Conduct community tours for prospective companies
• Negotiate incentive proposals on behalf of the County
