Election Worker Recruitment  
Are you interested in working at the polls on Election Day?
Approximately 1,000 election workers are needed in Richland County to serve at the polls on election day.
This is an opportunity to serve your community and to be involved in the election process!
Qualifications:
  • A resident of Richland County, or an adjoining county
  • If age 18 +, you MUST be a qualified registered voter to work on election day
  • 16 & 17 year olds may serve as poll managers
  • Complete online and/or in-person training
Elections are fundamental to democracy. They are the crucial steps by which citizens come together for a common goal to select our representatives - our leaders - for today and for the future.

Every election worker is an integral part of this important process. Would you like to be one of these helpful people? Serving as a poll worker takes patience, friendliness, dedication and efficiency. If you are interested, please contact the Elections and Voter Registration office at 576-2241.
