Contact us: For all questions, contact us at 803-929-6000 Our Location: 400 Powell Road Columbia, SC 29203 Information Residential Pickup:Richland County provides citizens with weekly pickup for Household Garbage, Recycling, and Yard Waste. Monthly curbside collection is provided for Bulk Items. Contact Richland County, at 803-929-6000, to determine the pickup days for your property. The annual fee for garbage collection is included in each property owner’s tax bill. Holiday Schedule Pickup: No garbage or recyclables will be collected on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. If a holiday is on your regular collection day, your garbage will be picked up the next day. Call Richland County at 803-929-6000 for information on all schedule changes.
